We are using smart phone in daily life But are you know about your  phone sensors

There are various sensors which is present in smart phones

1) Proximity Sensor

*Proximity Sensor

Detects when an object is near to the phone. Most commonly used to sense when a phone is held up to the users ear to turn off the display. This saves both battery life and prevents accidental screen touches.

*Accelerometer and gyroscope sensor

 

Accelerometers in mobile phones are used to detect the orientation of the phone. The gyroscope, or gyro for short, adds an additional dimension to the information supplied by the accelerometer by tracking rotation or twist

* Gyroscope Sensor

It  is similar to accelerometers sensor but in advance way . For example when you play motion games ( like car race , bike race )  

*Light sensor

Light sensor is use for control brightness of your smart phone screen according to  environment lighting .

* Magnetometer sensor or digital compass

It provides mobile phones with a simple orientation in relation to the Earth's magnetic field. As a result, your phone always knows which way is North so it can auto rotate your digital maps depending on your physical orientation.

* Barometer Sensor

Barometer sensor is very advance sensor and help to find accuarate  location and monitring air pressure.

* Biometrics

Biometric related sensors provide levels of enhanced security by capturing and validating human related metrics. Including Finger Print recognition, IRIS (eye) scanning and full facial recognition.

Biometric sensors provide a more secure but more convenient way to unlock phones.

* Thermometer sensor  

As its name .This sensor is use to measure internal temperature of phone and take action like liquid cooling process.

* Pedometer sensor

It is use to count your walking steps and distance . That is  it.
